About half of these videos are modified videos that I had already created for my Youtube channel. After uploading these videos I have averaged uploading about 40 videos a month. In the grand scheme of things, 6 months is not a lot of time. This is just one person’s experience from a short amount of time. You should not expect my experience however to be the same as what you will experience. Only UK residents may post on this subreddit.

I would say this is the second best location for your video to show up. I also don’t know if and how this will impact on tier status evaluations. Until now Vine have usually used submitted reviews. My last evaluation was on 24/7, but I didn’t have any submitted-but-unapproved reviews at the cut-off on 23/7 so I can’t tell anything from that. We have been selling for about 2-3 years, mainly in UK and DE – without any problems, no “account health” issues, no negative customer reviews etc.

Quality vs Quantity – The subject of quality has come up a handful of times here. I have inferred that most influencers here who have been doing this a while would prefer quality over quantity. To me the single biggest indicator of monetary success is simply choosing the right product to review. I have several videos that I would consider to be higher quality that have few or no views.
Faceless videos – I have seen some discussion here and in Youtube about if it is better to show your face talking or to just have your hands showing the product and do a voiceover. In my experience I have not really seen one way work better than the other. For products where people want to see how they work I think hands are just fine. For products where people want to hear more of an opinion I think it is helpful to show your face. Storefront – When you upload a FoxyGold review video it will show up on your storefront until you have enough other videos/lists/photos that it gets rotated out. Since July I have posted just over 300 videos.

We don’t allow any recommending of behaviour that obviously contravenes the Vine Agreement or other rules governing Vine. Similarly, please do not advocate things that blatantly break the spirit of the Vine programme, it looks bad on everyone involved. Providing incomplete or inaccurate information is a common reason why verification may not be successful.
- For products where people want to hear more of an opinion I think it is helpful to show your face.
- Sometimes it is hard to know what products will sell well which is where quantity might have a benefit.

- You could say this makes a case for why uploading a lot of videos might be beneficial.

Some of my videos with the most helpful votes don’t really sell well and some of my videos with very few helpful votes do sell well. You could say this makes a case for why uploading a lot of videos might be beneficial. I think it is a mistake to discount any of the above. If you decide to only do commissioned videos I think you will miss out on potential opportunities.
My experience after 6 months of uploading videos in the Amazon Influencer program.
If you are subject to any of the above and you believe it was incorrect you are welcome to message the mods. Auto mod deletes a lot of comments and posts. A very quick way to get a mod ban is to post or comment as a non Vine member and whinge about not being on the programme. But this is for a friend in another country and we’re planning to gift each other something in a week or two. I’m not buying it for me, I’m buying it to ship to an address in the US. I’m only the buyer and the product isn’t for me, so it isn’t just my address to bill and ship to.

If you decide to only do free items, you will likely spend a lot of time wasted on products that don’t do well. You need to find a good balance that works for you. For me personally, if I am really interested in an item I will typically do the video for free. If I am not super interested in the item I will charge a commission. If they pass I am not really out of anything. Video Carousel – These are the videos that show up under the product description and above the related products and reviews.
I would not recommend purchasing items for review unless you are already having a good amount of success selling items. I expected to see patterns like higher average view duration, longer videos, or more helpful votes. What I found however is there was really no discernable pattern.
Other times it is obvious when a product is doing well and only high quality videos will stand a chance of doing well in the long run. In my experience when I have purchased things on my own, while some things have done well, on average I have not broken even with these products. Things could change in the next year as most of these items were only purchased in the last month or two but this is something to consider.
Two main registered owners (visible in registry) – both added as beneficial owners during verification process. Third owner, not added to seller account as minor owner (13%). The refunds that I have received were issued by live support on their own accord for situations that I explained to them and expected a course of action on my part. I don’t understand the purpose of the email as it doesn’t seem to be warning, or requesting anything from me. I couldn’t imagine the customer is to blame for what customer service decides to do with an order.
Likewise, I have several videos that I would not consider to be very good quality but they get thousands of views and hundreds of sales. That being said, I think there is a bigger lasting power with higher quality videos. Sometimes it is hard to know what products will sell well which is where quantity might have a benefit.
People of different origin may comment on posts where it is relevant and helpful. This is viewed as only sparingly applicable. I guess that the issue might have been the number of verification times, that we have exceeded some kind of limit? We are willing to provide all required data/documents (as we have been so far), but now I don’t know WHAT exactly and HOW.
